On February 24, RISe signed a partnership with Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) and Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM) to publish Isagani Serrano’s selected works on environment, climate justice and sustainable development.
On FPE’s Facebook post, it shared, “Today, we pay homage to the illustrious life of Ka Gani, a visionary leader and towering figure in the fight for civil rights, democracy, and environmental justice.
The Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) was born from the debt-for-nature swap heralded by the group of Isagani Serrano, along with Dinky Soliman, Junie Kalaw, Atty. Jun Factoran, and other distinguished names.
As a way of giving back, on this 5th remembrance of Isagani Serrano, the partnership between FPE, PRRM, and RISE was officially signed. The Foundation is honored to be an instrument in making Ka Gani’s legacy tangible.
Let us continue to strive for a world where justice, democracy, and environmental sustainability prevail, guided by the principles and values that Isagani held dear.”
