New York Launch of Reimagining Sustainability Inspires Dialogue on Climate Justice and Development

A powerful and heartwarming U.S. launch of Reimagining Sustainability: Selected Works of Isagani Serrano on Environment, Climate Justice, and Sustainable Development took place at the City College of New York (CCNY) on September 26, 2025. The event was held at CCNY’s Shepard Hall S-350 and streamed via Zoom, bringing together academics, advocates, and youth leaders to celebrate the life and ideas of the late Filipino environmentalist and thought leader, Isagani R. Serrano.

Hosted by the City College of New York (CCNY) in partnership with RISe (Remembering Isagani Serrano), the launch featured inspiring reflections and dialogues on Serrano’s enduring contributions to sustainability and social justice.
